Kimberli Hastings

(FORT THOMPSON, SD

Horizon Health Care, Inc. (Horizon) is pleased to welcome Kimberli Hastings, CNP, to Fort Thompson Community Health Center. Hastings will provide primary care medical services to the Fort Thompson community.

Hastings attended Southeast Tech in Sioux Falls, SD, graduating with a Licensed Practical Nurse diploma. She then went on to receive an Associate of Science in Nursing degree from the University of South Dakota, followed by a Master of Science in Nursing degree from Walden University.

“I chose to become a Nurse Practitioner because I loved being a nurse and helping patients, but I wanted to go the extra step to be able to prescribe their medications and help further in their health plan decision-making,” stated Kimberli Hastings, CNP. “I feel the best care for patients is achieved when they are a part of the decision making and hope to provide the best care while keeping patients involved in what is happening.”

Hastings, who is originally from Mt. Vernon, SD, is married to husband, Brady. They have a son, Tucker, and a daughter, Harleigh, and are expecting another child in October. Hasting is currently available for appointments at Fort Thompson Community Health Center.
