Sara Cashman, CNP
Horizon Health Care is pleased to welcome, Sara Cashman, CNP, as a new provider at Jerauld County Community Health Center.
Cashman received both her associate’s and bachelor’s degree in nursing from Dakota Wesleyan University in Mitchell, South Dakota, in 2014 and 2015. She graduated from Mount Marty University in Yankton, South Dakota, with a Master of Science in Nursing – Family Nurse Practitioner in 2023. Through her experience caring for patients, she developed special interest in geriatric care, cancer care and prevention, chronic care, adolescent health, family medicine, pediatric care, women’s health, and immunizations.
“I strive to build lasting relationships with all patients I meet supported by open communication, honesty and integrity,” said Cashman.
Cashman currently lives in Wessington Springs with her husband, Christopher, and her two children. In her free time, Cashman enjoys golfing, camping, reading and has traveled to Germany. Her previous experience includes eight years as a nurse at Avera Weskota Memorial Hospital. She is currently available for appointments at Jerauld County Community Health Center Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday from 7:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.; and 7:30 to 11:30 a.m. on Tuesday.
