(HOWARD, SD) – Horizon Health Care, Inc. (Horizon) and Prairie Winds Dental Clinic, in collaboration with the University of Minnesota, are pleased to introduce a dental student who is doing her clinical rotations in Howard from September 10 – October 5.

The student visiting Howard is Skyler Moderow of Casselton, ND. Moderow completed her undergraduate degree at the University of North Dakota, during which she joined the North Dakota Air National Guard. Her plans after dental school include attending an AEGD (Advanced Education in General Dentistry) Dental Residency at the Air Force. Following her AEGD Dental Residency, she will work as a dentist in the Air Force for four years. Moderow, who was recently married, is looking forward to the married life with her husband, Konstantine, who works at the Ellsworth Air Force Base. Her interests include reading and watching Netflix and swimming, tubing and jet skiing at her parent’s lake cabin.

“It is a pleasure to once again welcome a dental student from the University of Minnesota to our team at Prairie Winds Dental,” said Dr. Michelle Scholtz, Chief Dental Officer of Horizon. “Our partnerships with the area dental schools are a great opportunity to bring dental students back to our rural communities and introduce them to Horizon Health Care.”
