[HURON, SD] — Horizon Health’s new Horizon Health Express Care service opened Dec. 2 to provide fast care when you need it most right here in Huron.
Designed to meet the needs of your community, the Horizon Health Express Care “quick care” model offers fast, reliable, affordable care for illnesses like colds and flus and minor injuries. When you’re not feeling well, you need care fast. One of the main benefits of a walk-in clinic like Horizon Health Express Care is efficiency and respect for your time.
The new same-day care model offers:
- Convenience – There’s no appointment necessary. Just walk in for the care you need.
- Extended hours – The 7:30 am to 5 pm schedule is perfect for early mornings before work and school or a quick trip on your lunch break.
- Fast Reliable Care – Skip the long waits and start feeling better faster. You’ll receive exceptional, patient-focused care from providers you already know and trust.

Horizon Health Express Care accepts all types of insurance, Medicaid/Medicare, cash pay, and offers a sliding-fee scale. Community members do not need to be a previously/current established patient with Horizon Health to utilize the new Express Care service.
Horizon Health Express Care is housed in the Horizon Health Huron location at the Huron Mall, 1000 18th St. SW, Suite 27.
