(WESSINGTON SPRINGS, SD) – Horizon Health Care, Inc. (Horizon) is pleased to introduce new medical provider, Michael Peña, MD, to the communities of Wessington Springs and Fort Thompson.
A graduate of St. Louis University – School of Medicine, Dr. Peña is originally from Chamberlain, SD. He completed his undergraduate studies at Colorado State University, and previously spent five years as a Physician at Sanford Health.
Peña joins a team of six current providers in both locations (Sarah Newton, PA-C, Katie Stearns, CNP, Meghan Torgerson, CNP, Donna Linke, CNP, PMHNP, QMHP, Dr. Lance Lim and Dr. Tom Dean) to provide quality medical care to the Wessington Springs and Fort Thompson communities. He is currently available for appointments at Jerauld County Community Health Center and Fort Thompson Community Health Center. His hobbies include gardening, restoring cars and astronomy.
