(MCINTOSH, SD) – Horizon Health Care, Inc. (Horizon) is pleased to introduce Melissa Nehl, CNP, DNP, APRN, as the newest medical provider at McIntosh Community Clinic and Isabel Community Clinic. Melissa joins current providers David Rollason, PA-C and Geralyn Hahne, PA-C to provide primary care medical services to the McIntosh and Isabel communities.
“Rural health care is my passion, and the reason I chose my profession as a Family Nurse Practitioner,” said Melissa Nehl, CNP, DNP, APRN. “Working at Horizon will allow me to give back to the communities that raised me. I look forward to serving patients and their families, and helping to improve health care access in rural South Dakota.
A recent graduate of the University of Mary, Nehl holds a Doctorate of Nursing Practice degree. Nehl, a Watauga, SD native, is currently available for appointments at McIntosh Community Clinic and Isabel Community Clinic. Her hobbies include spending time on her family’s cattle ranch, riding horse, hunting and playing bass and singing in her band, The Broken Spokes.
