McKenzie Bormann, PA-C, joins Aurora County Community Health Center

McKenzie Bormann, PA-C

Horizon Health Care is pleased to welcome McKenzie Bormann, PA-C, as a new medical provider at Aurora County Community Health Center. Previously serving as a PRN for Horizon’s central and eastern regions, McKenzie will now serve the Plankinton community full time.

McKenzie grew up in Parkston, South Dakota. She received her bachelor’s degree in athletic training from Dakota Wesleyan University in Mitchell, South Dakota. In 2018, she graduated with a master’s degrees in health science from the College of Saint Mary in Omaha, Nebraska. Two years later, she graduated with a master’s degree in physician assistant studies.

“I chose this profession because it allows me to combine my love of science with my love of caring for people,” said McKenzie Bormann, PA-C. “I’m looking forward to providing high-quality, compassionate healthcare to the Plankinton community.”

McKenzie lives on a family farm just outside of Stickney, South Dakota, with her husband Adam and daughter Maren. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with family, going to the river, camping, gardening and playing with her golden retriever, Marley. She is currently available for appointments at Aurora County Community Health Center on Monday through Friday, from 7:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Diane Inch, PA-C, will be available for appointments on Wednesdays and Fridays. Additional recruitment is ongoing.
