(Martin, SD) – Horizon Health is pleased to welcome Lindsey Heath, CNP, as a new provider at its Martin medical clinic.
In Martin, Heath joins fellow providers Chris Rosario, CNP; and Jocelyn Bergh, PA-C.
Originally from Pierre, Heath received her Bachelor of Science in nursing from South Dakota State University in Brookings, South Dakota; and her master’s degree as a family nurse practitioner from the University of Cincinnati. She has a special interest in chronic care conditions such as diabetes as well as preventative care to encourage heart health. She is also interested in functional medicine.
“I chose to work in healthcare to be an advocate for patients in their health journey,” Heath said. “Horizon provides an enthusiastic work environment with individuals who care about their small communities and the people within it.”
Previously, Heath worked for two years as a registered nurse at the Bennett County Hospital in Martin. She has also held positions as a registered nurse and nurse manager at Horizon during her eight-and-a-half-year tenure.
She and her husband Anthony have two daughters, Tierany and Jozey. When not busy seeing patients she enjoys gardening, cooking and baking from scratch, crocheting and craft projects. Their family enjoys spending time outdoors visiting national parks and monuments.
“We look forward to exploring more sites over the next several years,” Heath said.
