Horizon Health Care has named Lexy Eggert as chief development and strategy officer of Horizon Health Care, effective February 1, 2022.
Eggert previously served as director of marketing and communications for the past six years, during which she led the day-to-day marketing efforts and coordinated both internal and external communications.
“Lexy brings a valuable combination of being extremely knowledgeable of the evolving healthcare landscape, providing a forward-thinking approach to healthcare delivery, and recognizing how decisions impact operational workflows,” said Wade Erickson, chief executive officer. “She will be a huge asset to Horizon’s continued success and sustainability in the future.”
As chief development and strategy officer, Eggert will guide Horizon’s long-range strategic decisions, proactively explore business partnerships, and continue to oversee the marketing department to ensure access to affordable, high-quality healthcare for rural communities.
Eggert is originally from Britton, SD, and holds a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration with a specialization in Marketing from Dakota State University. She resides in Howard with her husband, Adam, and daughter, Kenzie.
