(LAKE PRESTON, SD)
In celebration of their new clinic location, Horizon Health Care will be hosting a grand-opening of the Lake Preston Community Health Center on Tuesday, May 17 from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.
Tours of the new facility will be available for individuals who wish to see updated rooms and features. The program will begin at 12:15 p.m. followed by a ribbon-cutting ceremony. Lunch and refreshments will be available.
With infrastructure challenges in their previous building, Horizon determined a new location for their community health center would create a better environment for their employees and patients. The new clinic includes three exam rooms, a nurses’ station, an open lobby area and more.
“Thank you to all those who’ve contributed to and supported the new clinic’s development,” said Wade Erickson, chief executive officer for Horizon Health Care. “As a commitment to your community, Horizon is excited for this new, more accessible location and the impact it will have in Lake Preston.”
The Lake Preston Community Health Center is currently available for appointments during their normal hours of Monday, Tuesday, Thursday from 8 a.m. – 12:30 p.m., 1 – 5 p.m. They provide primary and preventative care for patients, insured or uninsured.
