(Faith, SD) – Candace Veit, FNP-C, has joined the staff of Horizon Health Faith.
Candace Veit, FNP-C, is the new provider at Horizon Health Faith.
Veit is originally from Red Owl, South Dakota, and has a specialization in aesthetics and skin health.
When pursuing her college education, she chose Presentation College in Aberdeen, South Dakota, where she received an Associate Degree in Nursing. She went on to pursue bachelor’s and master’s degrees in nursing from Walden University in Minneapolis, Minnesota, where she graduated Summa Cum Laude. Along with those two degrees she also earned certifications in advanced aesthetic injecting and Sciton Lasers, which are used in skin care procedures such as administering Botox.
Veit is looking forward to giving compassionate care to her new patients in Faith while promoting preventative care and overall well-being.
“I believe in providing compassionate, patient-centered care to individuals and families across all stages of life,” she said. “My goal is to create a welcoming and respectful environment where patients feel comfortable, heard and supported.”
When not seeing patients, Veit is active in her community supporting Faith School District sporting events, rodeos, and providing cemetery clean-up. She also enjoys riding horses, continuing her education in aesthetics, and traveling. She and her husband Morgan have three daughters and one son. They live in Dupree.
