(Yankton, SD) – Horizon Health is pleased to welcome Sophie Bisgard, DDS, to its Yankton and Alcester dental clinics.
Dr. Bisgard is originally from Yankton and is happy to return to the area to practice.
Dr. Sophie Bisgard, DDS, is excited to serve the communities of Yankton and Alcester.
“I am the youngest of three and I am excited to be living back home close to my family and friends,” she said.
Her post-secondary education began at South Dakota State University where she earned a degree in Human Biology in 2021. She recently graduated from the University of Minnesota School of Dentistry with a Doctor of Dental Surgery degree. She specializes in pediatric dental health, dental hygiene and general dentistry.
“I am excited to join the Horizon team! I look forward to serving the communities of Yankton and Alcester and helping my patients improve both their oral health and confidence,” Dr. Bisgard said.
When not seeing dental patients, she likes being near the water and is a self-proclaimed book lover.
“I enjoy spending time at the lake, finding fun coffee shops, and reading a good book,” Dr. Bisgard said.
