Catherine Friesen, CNP, Joins Aberdeen Community Health Center

(ABERDEEN, SD) – Horizon Health Care, Inc. (Horizon) is pleased to introduce Catherine Friesen, CNP, as the newest medical provider at Aberdeen Community Health Center. Catherine joins provider Leah Bennett, PA-C, to provide primary care medical services to the Aberdeen community.

Friesen attended Augustana College in Sioux Falls, SD, and earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing. She later went on to attend South Dakota State University, graduating in 1997 with a Master’s of Science in Nursing Degree as a Nurse Practitioner.

“My philosophy of care is to provide holistic, compassionate, quality healthcare at an affordable cost to patients of all ages,” said Catherine Friesen, CNP, who is currently available for appointments at Aberdeen Community Health Center.

Friesen, a Menno, SD native, will make her home in rural Groton. She has three children: Melissa, who lives in Africa, Matthew, a student at Portland Bible College, and Michal, an incoming high school freshman. Her hobbies include baking, cooking, perennial flower gardening and spending time with her pets.
