The Operations Assistant supports in coordinating events, scheduling and providing assistant in project work for the Horizon Health Care’s Operations Team. Successful candidates for the Operations Assistant should be passionate about providing high-quality, patient centered care. This position is located in Howard, SD.
Assist in coordination of events and project work for the Horizon Health Care’s Operations Team.
• Manage calendars to ensure they are kept up to date and the overall efficiency of the Operations Team and organization is maintained. Attend staff meetings and take notes, if requested.
• Assist Horizon Health Care’s Human Resources Department with interviews, ensuring employment files are safeguarded and updated, staff badges, complaint process, monthly reports and screenings and the coordination of the Horizon employee recognition and retention program. Maintain paper and paperless document database and ensure up-to-date employee documents are uploaded into the HRIS system in compliance with applicable legal requirements.
• Assist Horizon Health Care’s Marketing Department with graphics, employee newsletter, digital signage and project work.
• Assist the Horizon Health Care’s Operations Team in maintaining and updating employee policies, forms and procedures.
