Brady L. Kerkman, Director of Development

Director of Development Brady L. Kerkman is not new to the health care industry. He has spent over 14 years in a variety of roles including development, administration, policy making and marketing. He chose Mount Marty University in Yankton, South Dakota for his undergraduate education, majoring in social science, with a focus on psychology and sociology. He went on to study organizational leadership at Grand View University in Des Moines, Iowa, earning his master’s degree in 2021.

He and his wife, Maria, have one child, Dimitri, and two French bulldogs named Giulio and Giada. He has enjoyed traveling the United States as well as Canada, Mexico and Italy.

During his spare time, he enjoys working in his yard, restoring old pieces of furniture, and spending time with his family and two Frenchies. He and his family live in Sioux Falls. His wife, Maria is a social worker and his son, Dimitri, aspires to be an OB/GYN.

Brady has a strong passion in delivering equal access to high quality health care. As an individual who was raised on a farm in rural Nebraska, but has lived throughout South Dakota, he understands and respects the various challenges rural communities face when it comes to health care, mental health services, dental, and beyond. He is committed in working to develop resources for the patients and team of Horizon Health, by going above and beyond the industry standard and increasing the Foundation’s achievements to meet them where they are.
