Although Howard does not have a hospital, there is a 78 bed skilled nursing home and an assisted living center in the community. The Howard Clinic furnishes space for podiatry and physical therapy services. Howard Clinic providers service the nursing home and also maintain a close relationship with the volunteer ambulance service.

In the case of an emergency during office hours, please call the office immediately so we can prepare for your arrival. For after-hours emergencies call 911 or call the Madison Hospital at 605-256-6551 and staff will assist you.
