Jerauld County Clinic is located in Wessington Springs, a family-centered rural community with a population of roughly 1000.  Wessington Springs recently added a new airport with a 3600 foot, lighted, asphalt runway as well as a newly renovated critical access hospital attached to clinic with full complement of ancillary services including CT and ultrasound. Wessington Springs has a progressive school system with extracurricular activities for varied interests as well as a wellness center, golf course, bowling alley, swimming pool, large city park, campground, baseball and softball diamonds, amateur baseball team, hiking, horseback riding, snowmobiling, and cross-country skiing. Local arts council, theatre group and historical societies are active in newly refurbished 1905 Opera House, Anne Hathaway Cottage and Shakespeare Garden.  Outstanding hunting and fishing that includes some of South Dakotas best pheasant hunting land in addition to deer, turkey, ducks and geese!  Only 40 miles to Missouri River which has some of the worlds best walleye fishing!
