James Valley Community Health Center - NOW OPEN
We're pleased to announce that James Valley
Community Health Center is now open. Situated in downtown Huron adjacent
to the medical district, we're providing patients with personalized,
quality, primary health care at our temporary clinic located at 34 3rd
Street SE. We're open weekdays 8 am to 5 pm.
We're excited to offer the Huron community
affordable family medicine, pediatric care, emergency care and lab
services. The only community health center in the Huron area offering
financial assistance through the Sliding Fee Program, James Valley
Community Health Center offers reduced prices on office visits and all
other services provided in the clinic to all individuals and families
who qualify. The Sliding Fee Program is based on patient income and
family size which may reduce a patient's bill by 20%, 40%, 60%, 80%, or
more. A chief resource for uninsured or underinsured members of
the community, patients may qualify even if they are covered by
Medicare, Medicaid or health insurance.
Within four to six months, we'll move James
Valley Community Health Center to a much larger space located in the
former Osco Drug area of the Huron Mall. Extensive renovations are
underway to transform the 12,000 square foot retail space into a
state-of-the-art community health center.
