The clinic is located in Plankinton and is staffed with a full-time physician assistant who has been in Plankinton for over 25 years.  There is no hospital in Plankinton and the nearest hospital is in Mitchell, 24 miles away.

Dr. Dean and Jim Cody provide on-site services at Aurora-Brule Nursing Home in White Lake, SD (also in Aurora County) where Dr. Dean serves as Medical Director.

Emergencies: In the case of an emergency during office hours, please call the office immediately so we can prepare for your arrival.  For after hours emergencies, call Jim Cody, PA-C, at (605) 942-7414. If he is unavailable, call Weskota Memorial Hospital in Wessington Springs at (605) 539-1201 or 800-529-0123, or Queen of Peace Hospital in Mitchell at (605) 995-2000 and nursing staff will assist you. You may also dial 911 to obtain help or ambulance.
